Control & AutomationIn progress

LPG terminal: loading automation and SCADA

Problem
Truck loading ran on paper tickets and phone calls, with no reliable link between the meter and the record.
What we did
Redundant PLC, SCADA, four loading bays with preset meters, two weighbridges, tank gauging, fire and ESD pages, and a full document set.
Result
All four bays loading end to end from the bay keypad; system at site acceptance stage.
Control & AutomationIn progress

Petroleum depot: tank and pump monitoring system

Problem
A PMS/AGO depot needed tank inventory and pump status in one control-room view.
What we did
SCADA screens, I/O list, network architecture, panel layout, cable schedule, loop drawings and budget estimate.
Result
Engineering package prepared for installation.
Process EngineeringCompleted

CNG mother station: process and control consultancy

Problem
The client needed the process, control and safety scope defined, and two vendor offers compared.
What we did
Process review (drying, three-stage compression, storage, truck loading), PAS / SIS / FGS split, I/O study and a structured question register.
Result
Six red flags found in the cheaper vendor offer, including reduced fire protection and no station PLC.
Process EngineeringCompleted

LPG plant: PLC I/O design

Problem
An LPG plant needed its control I/O defined from the P&IDs before PLC hardware could be ordered.
What we did
Extracted 125 I/O points from three P&ID sheets and designed the PLC rack with area safety interlocks.
Result
Rack design at 82% channel use, exportable straight into the PLC software.
Vessel SystemsCompleted

Security vessel: monitoring system restored

Problem
The vessel management system and its distributed I/O were down, leaving the crew without engine-room monitoring.
What we did
Traced the fault through the I/O network and corrected a cable mismatch and a blown fuse on the data processing unit.
Result
Monitoring restored and all systems functional; further defects documented for the owner.
Vessel SystemsCompleted

Patrol vessel: engine tripping the PLC, steering lost

Problem
A port engine fault was tripping the PLC, and with it the vessel lost steering control.
What we did
Isolated a failed surge protection module and redesigned the steering supply from one engine to both.
Result
Redundant dual-engine power feed: no single point of failure.
Vessel SystemsCompleted

Offshore support vessel: HMI panels and general alarm

Problem
Failed operator panels and a general alarm that would not work.
What we did
Installed two new Siemens HMI panels and traced the alarm fault to a fuse failure collapsing the 24 V bus.
Result
Panels in service, alarm working, completion report signed by the client.
